America's Best Dance Crew tour review

So I just got back from the America's Best Dance Crew Tour, and it was amazing! ASIID, Fanny Pak, Break Sk8, Super Cr3w and the Jabbawockeez were all awesome as always. They each performed the highlights from the show, including Fanny Pak's prom, ASIID's dog walk, Break Sk8 basketball, Super Cr3w's Superman, and Jabbawockeez's defying gravity. They all performed to music from the past, and it was cool because they were all integrated, not being able to tell which crew was which (from afar) because they all wore the same costumes, and the Jabbawockeez performed without their masks. The Jabbawockeez also performed to the "future" with some awesome beats and cool tricks. After the intermission, they came out and for some reason only 5 of them came out instead of 6, so I don't know what happened. But they came out in afro wigs and old 70's style costumes, dancing to Michael Jackson's Dancing Machine. After each crew performed to their choice dance (Break Sk8 did Ne-yo's Closer, Fanny Pak did When i grow up by the Pussycat dolls, Super Cr3w did their ninja routine, and ASIID did their ballerina routine). Jabbawockeez chose to do the Red Pill, in honor of Gee.

I was a bit pissed off at myself because I was recording Jabbawockeez's routine for the "future" but I figured that it was going on forever, so i stopped the recorder RIGHT before the best part, the ending where they all are knocked down to the floor (through some "injuries"). Anyway, after the show, we waited for them by the busses, and some of the guys from BreakSk8 came out first (I didn't know their names) but they were really nice.

Super Cr3w-they were really nice and I was being an annoying fan girl and screamed for Murda to come, but he was with his family, but he came afterwards, so I apologized and he was nice about it. We were going in for a group hug when Ben came around the 2nd time, and I guess he really didn't know where to put his face, so his lips just smacked my cheek! Yeah, he got that 5 o'clock shadow, but I don't care!!!

Fanny Pak I missed Beau and Matt (but Megan didn't even stop for anyone, she just kept on walking when we were screaming her name, so i think I lost a little respect for her, and Glinda didn't stop by either). Tiffani is definitely the nicest out of all of them. She stopped by the 2nd time to talk to us, and we were telling her how we were surprised that a lot of the crews are short, and she sounded surprised when we thought they were all tall on stage. Fanny Pak shares a tour bus with Break Sk8, and she said surprisingly all of the guys are really clean.

With ASIID, we met all the members except 1 (it was either dellalicious or Melissa, I can't tell them apart). But they were all really nice and just came up to us and gave us hugs without us having to ask. Everyone was waiting for Joey, and let me tell ya, he smells pretty DAMN GOOD!!! ASIID were all hugs and that was fun about them.

With Jabbawockeez:

Phi was the 1st to come out from the Jabbawockeez, and I asked him if his hometown show was the best, and he said of course because he has to be representin. KB came out next and I begged him if he could show us the Straight Leg technique, but he didn't (i was bummed, but he is still sweet). Next came Chris and he was of course nice. He is all smiles when you see him. Next came Rynan, and it was funny because no one recognized him until he got up real close because he had a hat and his glasses on. I felt a little bad because I think I offended him by telling him the show was too short. He says "what? It was an hour and 45 minutes," but I didn't mean to offend him in any way. I know they work hard. I had all of the members sign the Hooah! magazine that I got in the mail with Rynan on the cover, and the guys hadn't even seen it yet, so extra brownie points for me! Rynan was in a bit of awe, he didn't know what he was signing and he looked at it for a while, and the camera guy in charge of JabbaTV took a picture of him with it (so watch out!). Then Ben and Phil came out together, Phil was all smiles too, so happy to see everyone, and Ben was in awe of the magazine too, he flipped through it to see what it was. I asked Ben when the next time they are going to be touring, and they said in the Spring!!! So yeah, watch out! After, a few of us and Ben took a picture for the JabbaTV (oh snap!), so I'm definitely going to be looking out for that!

Bill and Trav's Bogus Journey Tour Review

So last night was the concert and it was freakin fun. I went with 2 of my co-workers and then met up with a friend afterwards. I was getting irritated by a certain someone from the constant nagging of wanting to go home when she was clearly warned that we were staying after to wait by the busses....

Anyway, we got there pretty early, and Hey Monday was first. I am not too familiar with them, but they are pretty good, I just can't get into it for some reason. The only songs I remember them singing was Candles and Homecoming (in which none other than Mr. William Beckett came out to sing).

Carolina Liar was next. If you haven't heard this band, you need to, they are amazing! They sang all my favorites including: Show Me What I'm Looking For, Coming to Terms, and ending with I'm Not Over. I was recording that song on my camera, and about 2/3 of the way through, a security guy came up to me and told me to "stop recording, pictures only." A lot of people throughout the night got yelled at too for recording, but I told myself and my friend that I am going to get a video of TAI no matter what.

We The Kings was up next. They basically played their whole album, which was freakin sweet. They also did a cover song of the Gorillaz's Feel Good Inc. I personally can't stand the Gorillaz, but WTK did a great cover of it, mainly because it wasn't annoying and they rocked it out. They brought a different style to it which was what made the song amazing. We The Kings was probably the most interactive band of the night. They really talked to the audience on a more personal basis, which is what I love. Travis wanted everyone to know that Red heads are becoming extinct in about 80-90 years, so he wanted to "Save the Red Heads" and he even designed one of the shirts that they are selling on tour that says "I <3 Red Heads." Very cool!!

Everyone was waiting for TAI of course. I liked their intro because they had a bit of the lighting effects going on with the music, so it was entertaining as everyone was screaming their head off waiting for them to go on stage. They opened up with Summer Love=Forever Young. What I loved about the concert was that they did a great mix of all 3 cds, and not just mainly focusing on the 3rd album alone. I guess people had talked to William beforehand and was complaining to him that it was cold outside (anything below 85 is freezing in Arizona) so he mentioned that during the show and he definitely heated things up to about 100 degrees, everyone was sweating crazy. William seemed to have some love for the mic stand, as he was throwing it and balancing it on his hand and flinging it and whatnot, basically the entire night. From Almost Here, they played Attention, Slow Down, The Phrase that Pays, and Classifieds. From Santi, they played LAX to O'Hare, We've Got a Big Mess on our Hands, Neighbors, Everything We Had, and my favorite, Seed. From Fast Times, they played About a Girl is/will be posted on my youtube page http://www.youtube.com/user/ImOkayNow , The Test (where the first half was acoustic played by William), Beware!Cougar!, After the last Midtown Show, and Coppertone. They closed the show with Checkmarks where everyone just went wild.

After the show the guys from We The Kings and Carolina Liar came out to hang out by the merch table, but I missed it because we rushed out to the busses right afterwards. I asked my friend to get me a poster because I didn't have anything for them to sign. Michael Chislett was the first to come out, and he was really nice. He took the time to talk to everyone and he is a lot shorter than I thought, he's about 5'7", but nonetheless, nice. He signed my poster and we all got a picture with him. Mike Carden was next to come out. He's kinda short too, but still...nice. Same thing, got my poster signed, and picture. I didn't really talk to either one of them because I didn't know what to say...I regret it, and hate my lack of creativity to say anything. One of my co-workers got the nerve to ask Mike if and when the rest of the guys were coming out because she needed to be home by midnight (which irritated the frick out of me) and I found it to be rude to be inconsiderate to Mike like that. Travis came out for a bit afterwards, and he was sort of all over the place, but he had to go, so we didn't get a chance to talk to him. No one came out after that, but I'm glad I got to meet 2 out of the 5. I was really looking forward to meeting Sisky, he's always the entertaining one........next time!

Tempe Music Festival review

so...Just got back from the Tempe Music Festival where My Chemical Romance performed....

This was my 1st concert going alone, but it wasn't all too bad since I met up with some friends there. We sat around a lot in the VIP area...we didn't start watching bands until Puddle of Mudd performed... the lead singer is funny as hell. There were some fangirls at the festival, and the lead singer told everyone to flick off Doug (the bassist), but no one would do it. So he told everyone to do Spirit Fingers (don't know why). Then he went on about how much he loves cheerleaders.... and he also went on about how he loves to plug it in (in guitars.........right....). Then for some reason he felt the need to tell everyone that he farted during Blurry. They also played my favorite song, Psycho...

Then I'm going to skip the fashion show that they did....because it was stupid and it wasn't a fashion show..

My Chemical Romance comes on stage and they start off with Im Not Okay, and continues with This is how I disappear, and Mama. Then in no particular order, they also played: Prison, Sharpest Lives, Dead!, House of Wolves, Cancer, Teenagers, Famous Last Words, I Don't Love You, Sleep, Kill All your friends, My Way Home is through you, Welcome to the Black Parade, Give em Hell Kid and I think I am missing 1...

During Teenagers, 2 of the crew members came out to play with MCR, 1 playing the harmonica, and the other playing the cow bell. It was quite interesting.

Before they played Cancer, James Dewees sang while he was playing the keyboard...what he was singing....I'm not too sure....and Gerard continued the song...

Gerard started making fun of Mikey and Ray because they cut themselves. "Go figure, the two guys that come with their own shirts" is what Gee said..... so let me go into detail about their shirts.....Ray had a shirt that said Toro on the top, and on the center of the shirt, it was a sillouette of him rocking out on the guitar...hair and all.... there was writing on the back but I couldn't read it... Mikey's shirt is plain and simple... "MIKEY FUCKIN WAY" in big white letters.

They left the stage...and about 1 minute later, they all come back out, and Gerard comes out smoking....kind of funny but sort of pathetic at the same time..it just reminded me of when the lead singer of HIM did that... so yeah, he has picked up smoking again... they closed the concert with Helena and Bob had to wait for Gerard to finish his smoke before they could begin...haha

They also confirmed that this is the last tour before they take a break, and that they will be recording a new album next year, but of course...no release date yet. Gerard also said that he was feeling Fergilicious (because Fergie is headlining the festival tomorrow).

During Cancer, I found it rather funny that the only part that Gerard did not sing was "know that I will never marry." Interesting? I think so!

Videos of: Gerard singing Home Sweet Home... (I think)..., My Way Home is Through You, and Psycho (by Puddle of Mudd http://www.youtube.com/user/ImOkayNow

and pictures are posted here! Enjoy!

The Really Really Ridiculously Good Looking Tour review

So, went to the Cobra Starship concert last night...

I'm telling you now that I CANNOT STAND TEENIES! I was ready to shank a lot of them last night. If you don't understand why, wait until you get older....I just want you all to know that a lot of people can't stand a lot of teenies. As I was walking around trying to find my group, people were being the biggest FUCKS ever! I am not for all the attitudes, this is a big reason why I don't living in the U.S anymore, people are getting bitchier by the second, and let me tell you,

Anyway, I lost my group almost immediately when we went into the Clubhouse. During The Cab I was still with them, but after that I lost them. The Cab is pretty good, but not my new favorite band...

We The Kings IS my new favorite band. I especially love Check Yes Juliet. I still have to get their cd though.

Metro Station was probably my least favorite band (but I thought the drummer was kinda cute, short, but a lot of bands are.)

So by the time Cobra Starship is about to start, I basically get pushed to the front and I find my group again (3/4 anyway). The entire concert I couldn't breathe or move, and ready to pass out 95% of the time. Teenies yelling at Gabe to take off his shirt, take off his clothes (PLEASE BITCHES!) For some reason it's hard for teenies to believe that Gabe and the other band members are REAL PEOPLE! This isn't a strip club, you're still a minor, under 18, and asking people to take their clothes off..............WTF is this world coming to!? Anyway, some songs that I remember them singing:

City is at War, The Church of Hot Addiction, Kiss My Sass, Prostitution is the world's oldest Profession, Smile for the Papparazzi, My Moves are White, Hollaback Boy, Being from Jersey..., Damn you look good and I'm drunk, Bring it on, Guilty Pleasure.

So Bring it On, my friend Donny got to go up on stage and sing the rap part (the part that Travis McCoy usually sing), and he was nervous as hell. He did pretty well though, but he said 'cinnamon' instead of 'sentiments'. Afterwards, towards the end of the song, Gabe decides to stage dive into a bunch of tiny girls no bigger than 5 ft. His head landed on my head and almost knocked my glasses off (if it did fall of, it would have been broken in .5 seconds flat). The girls couldn't hold him up, so they all fell to the ground, and I was being attacked because people were pushing to touch him and that dragged me to the ground even more. During that time, one of Cobra's security guards accused my friend of being on Gabe, so the guy put a death grip on his throat, and left a really bad mark, and in the end my friend couldn't swallow anymore. So when Gabe finally got up, they didn't bother finishing the song because the rest of the band stopped, worrying about Gabe... After being attacked by teenies, I had to leave because I was about 5 seconds away from passing out. I had to get a water, and met up with Donny afterwards (who was shaking because he still couldn't believe it).

So, end of the concert, I'm still trying to breathe....members from The Cab, Metro Station and We The Kings came out and hung around. Alex from Cobra was the 1st to come out. He was nice, but he seemed a bit shy. Over time, we were kicked out of the venue, and had to wait for Ryland and Gabe and Alex outside. So when it came our turn, I didn't realize how tall they all are! I introduced myself to Ryland and Gabe, and I told Gabe that I was one of the ones that he fell on top of, and he asked me if I was ok and apologized for it. So then I took the picture with Donny, and Gabe just yelled 'DONNY' since he was the one that sang on stage, so all the attention was on him...that bummed me a bit, but oh well. Before I left, Gabe looked at me and told me to give him a hug...hehe, of course I couldn't refuse.

Pictures are up, but I am having a hard time putting up Check Yes Juliet by WTK, so if anyone knows how to work a Canon camera onto youtube, lemme know!

Found these videos on youtube. The 1st one I'm the one in the pink shirt, I couldn't get up after Gabe fell on me. The 2nd one is of my friend on stage.

DirecTV Celebrity Beach Bowl review

So, just came back from the Celebrity Beach bowl where celebrities came out to play flag football in honor of SuperBowl 42 coming to Arizona. This was followed by a 1 hour performance by Fall Out Boy which was televised live.

Celebrities included (of which I knew):

Matt Leinart (Quarterback from AZ Cardinals), Terry Crews (from White Chicks), Michael Clarke Duncan, David Spade, a bunch of football players, Maria Menounus, Kendra Wilknson (from Girls Next Door), and Pete and Andy from Fall Out Boy. (See pics).

When they introduced the players out, Terry Crews....wow, he is as crazy as he seems on and off camera. He was just crazy and took his shirt off and started growling and screaming... he's vicious.

For some reason, Pete never even played 1 second of football. I saw him and Ashlee walk off to get ready to perform. Andy, on the other hand, played about 1/2 the game. Knowing him, he likes to be unique. He was on the blue team, but he wore a Packers Brett Favre jersey... so he stuck out a lot. He actually scored a touchdown for the team, leaving the blue team 7 ahead of the white team (which eventually they caught up). Andy was very proud of his touchdown, it was funny because he sounded like a little 8 year old when he told the interviewer "I scored a touchdown."

After that, Kendra Wilkinson scored a touchdown for the white team (more than Pete ever did, mind you). The Blue team ended up winning by 1 point. Right afterwards, Fall Out Boy performed. They played (in no order):

Sugar, We're Going Down, Thriller, Thnks Fr Th Mmrs, Beat It, Dance Dance, A Little Less Sixteen Candles..., The Take Over The Break's Over, I'm Like a Lawyer..., This Ain't A Scene..., and ended with Saturday. My friend and I were trying to get down to the floor because these bitches told us that we didn't need any wristbands to get down, so I bitched and complained about that.

Well, last time I caught Pete's towel. This time, I caught one of Joe's guitar picks, and my friend caught Andy's drumstick.

Pictures are up!

Young Wild Things Tour

So, I just got back from the Young Wild Things Tour. My sister and I were hesitant as to whether or not we should go because this was the 2nd time that Fall Out Boy had to postpone a concert. Even though this was only by 1 day, it messed up our plans. But we decided to go anyway.

I waited in line and this mom was bitching about how I cut her in line. Dumbass! First off, I wasn't in her line (more like a big mob area), and second, it's not my fault that the area that I am in is moving faster. It's not my fault that YOU decided to line up in front of a pole!!! Anyway, bought my tour shirt, and missed some of Cute Is What We Aim For.

Plain White T's comes on next and opens up with Hate (I really don't like you), and then along the lines included: You and Me, Take Me Away, Friends Dont Let Friends Dial Drunk, All That We Needed (I think), Hey There Delilah, Our Time Now (video soon), and maybe 1 or 2 more that I missed. I heard PWT's weren't good live, but I thought they were pretty good.

Next Gym Class Heroes came on. I'm not a big fan of them, and this was my 2nd time seeing them. The only songs that pop in my mind now that they played were Cupid's Chokehold, and Clothes Off where Patrick came out and sang. During the song Travis kept reminding people that he was single and that there are a lot of sexy girls out there (yeah, most of them 15 or under). As he was singing Clothes Off, he threw out both of his shoes and socks...............very odd....

So before Fall Out Boy come on, my sis tells me that the guitarist from GCH is out by the girl's bathroom, so my friend and I go take a picture with him (picture soon).

Fall Out Boy time! They open up with Sugar We're Going Down, followed by (no order): Our Lawyer made us change the name..., Of All the Gin Joints..., Nobody Puts Baby in the Corner (I think), The After Life of the Party, I Slept With Someone in Fall Out Boy, Golden, XO, Thriller, The Take Over the Breaks Over, I'm Like A Lawyer, Hum Hallelujah, Don't You Know who I think I am, Carpal Tunnel of Love, Grand Theft Autumn, A Little Less Sixteen Candles.., Thnks Fr Th Mmrs, This Ain't A Scene, Dance Dance, Saturday. They also butchered the cover song Mr. Brightside by the Killers..... Fall Out Boy.........please don't do that again....

This concert definetely wasn't their best. I had a lot more fun at the Honda Civic Tour. During the concert, Pete told the pit people to open up a pit circle. He had to actually get A.J to go out into the pit and show them how to mosh..............that's pretty sad. Lol. I've concluded that parents should not go to concert with their kids, and that they need to leave their kids at home if necessary. Parents are way too overprotective, and get mad when people push and shove. Are you serious!? That's what a concert consists of!!! If your parent is there not as a parent and not being all anal, then go for it.

Anyway.......... HIGHLIGHT OF THE NIGHT!:

So I was in the section that was next to the stage. So I could see who came out from under where the bands were. Well, at the end of the concert, I was trying to take pictures of them as they were going into the backstage area (but it wasn't really backstage, more like sidestage room), I got a pic of Patrick, and then tried to get one of Pete, but it didn't come out well. I just stood there smiling, while all the girls around me were screaming PETE PETE PETE! He looked up and smiled, and he threw me his TOWEL! I grabbed it 1st and these lil teeny bopper bitches tried to grab it out of my hand, but my sister helped me. I had to claw them to get it (and they also clawed me, I have the blood to prove it). It was still wet when we got it, lol. But yeah, highlight of the night. I think It's better than getting some autograph because a lot of people have autographs, but how many people can say they have Pete's towel!? Not much!

Projekt Revolution review

Just got back from PR at Phoenix and thought I might as well do this now while it's still fresh in my memory. So I had to wake up early to go to school so my sister could pick me up there after work. I was bored so I met up with my friend and later posted up some PR flyers (even though it was the day of the show).

So we got to Cricket Pavilion around 5, I picked up my meet and greet pass at the will call but forgot to ask them where I am supposed to meet them at. So I go in and meet a fellow Rmy soldier there and told me it was at the VIP lounge. I then bought my merch (a Projekt Revolution shirt w/ the tour dates on there and the live cd). I wanted an MCR poster but it was sold out, and was going to get the hoodie but too expensive.

So we sit down to watch HIM. I hardly recognized Ville with long hair and a hat.... I am not a big fan of theirs and the only song I knew was Wings of a Butterfly. It's funny watching Ville perform though because he smokes while singing.....catching a whif whenever he can inbetween singing.

So afterwards, it was around 6:20 and I go to the VIP lounge to wait in line. It started to rain freakishly hard and I got some of my stuff wet, but no hard damage. We wait there and 7:15 rolls around and it stops raining. Then they take us to another gate where MORE people have been waiting. Then we get through the line. Chester is first. He didn't seem like he wanted to be there. He was soft spoken and looked down a lot. Then came Phoenix. He asked me how I was and I was good of course. I asked him if he would pose for a pic, and of course he did. Then Joe......Me: hey joe, could you do me a favor and hold up this sign for me because my sister really wanted to meet you (a sign that read "Hi Annie." Joe: no, sorry, can't, unless you pay me a million dollars. Me: what!? i'm too poor, i'm a poor college student. So he holds up the sign over his eyes and I take a pic. Then Rob...I nearly melted when I saw him. He didn't say much, but was nice, and posed for a picture for me. Then Mike, he was talkative, but mainly to other people. He was busy doodling on a poster and putting on a moustache on Chester. I asked him to pose for a picture, and he did, but then looked down 3 seconds later....stupid camera! And then Brad. I kinda yelled "and the man with the Fro!" it was kinda funny....... oh, and I got my extended edition LP cd/dvd signed...

I come back and they are 1/2 way done setting up for My Chemical Romance (I missed the ENTIRE set of Taking Back Sunday.............shit!). So MCR goes on about 10 till 8. This was their setlist:

- This Is How I Disappear
- The Sharpest Lives
- I'm Not Okay
- Famous Last Words
- Give 'Em Hell, Kid
- Heaven Help Us
- Welcome To The Black Parade
- House of Wolves
- Mama
- Prison
- Teenagers
- Helena
- Cancer

Gerard said we were the best audience on the tour so far (which he has probably said before). I was pissed because they didn't play DEAD! and Dead! was my cue to record for the next song (which would be Heaven Help Us). So I didn't get that song on video..... it was my 1st time seeing Matt Cortez perform. He's good! Where we were sitting, I hardly saw Ray at all and Bob was covered by speakers. They put on an awesome show of course, but The Black Parade tour was hella better.. inbetween 1 of the songs, spotlight on him...he just says "Base 1 (his hands are high), Base 2 (hands getting lower) and Base 3 (where he groped himself........lol)." Haha, quite entertaining. During Prison, Gerard asked all of the guys to take off their shirts ("because you know you wanna!") and there was probably about a good 60 people that did. And he told them to wave it around in the air like you just don't care. A shirt was thrown up on stage (a plain white one) and Frank picks it up. Gerard warns him that it was a guys shirt........so Frank decides to wear it.....quite gross......but whatever.

Then of course, Linkin Park comes on. I was iffy about the 3 setlists that they had prepared for the tour, but luckily, they did my favorite set list:

Setlist C
One Step Closer
Lying From You
Somewhere I Belong
No More Sorrow
Papercut
Points of Authority
Wake
Given Up
Don't Stay
From the Inside
Leave Out All the Rest
Numb
Pushing Me Away
Breaking the Habit
Crawling
Shadow of the Day
In the End
Bleed it Out
(encore break)
The Little Things Give You Away
What I've Done
Faint

I am still sore from all the jumping and the clapping and the screaming and the arms up nearly the whole time. It was quite breath taking. Seeing them again on stage brought back soo many memories of the 1st time I saw them on Projekt Revolution 2002. Mike thanked us for giving Linkin Park Chester Bennington (because Chester is from Phoenix) over 10 years ago. During Given Up, I was probably the only person that shook my keys (everyone else clapped). It's an LPU thing... I don't think everyone knows that LP used keys in that song...but again...whatever. They played all of my favorite songs. During Bleed it Out (wow my hands were dead by this time), almost EVERYONE clapped and it was probably the craziest song of the night (2nd probably being One Step Closer or In the End). So in the middle of the song, Rob broke out in a sick ass drum solo and he went all out! There was no singing of course, just all on him. It was sooo amazing, I went crazy and all googely eyed all over again. I wish I could have recorded it on video, but then I think I would regret it either way because the energy of that song from both Linkin Park and the audience was just crazy! I would have hated to not be a part of that energy driven audience and just standing there recording it all instead of going all out and not recording it (a DVD would make it all better!). But I did buy the live cd so at least I can listen to it still... then they left for about a full minute or so and some people started leaving, lol. Then Chester and Mike came out and played the encore song and 2 other songs with the rest of the band. Overall, a great night. I wish I could have bought more stuff at the merch table, but it was either too expensive or not interesting.

So last night was the Honda Civic Tour with Paul Wall, Cobra Starship, The Academy Is..., + 44, and Fall Out Boy.... with the accompaniment of Dirty introducing the 1st couple bands.

We got there at 3, doors opened at 5 and people were passing out and throwing up from the heat (it was 112 degrees outside). When we got in, we bought our merch water and were able to get to the very front row. It was my friend Laura's 1st concert in 8 years and she was freaking out a bit, so my friend and I had to guard her from the pushing and shoving.

Paul Wall was up first, the only song I knew was that Grillz song. He handed out grillz too.....

What was cool was that for each band (other than Paul Wall), member of another band came out to sing with them........

Next was Cobra Starship. It was my first time seeing Vicky T and she's cute. She does a lot more than Elisa did. Let's see, from what I remember, they sang: Send my love to the Dancefloor, The Church of Hot Addiction, Keep It Simple, It's Amateur Night at the Appollo Creed, The Ballad of Big Poppa and Diamond Girl, and of course, Bring it (see video) where William Beckett came out to sing.

3rd was The Academy Is.... I normally don't listen to their music, but it was good. From what I know of, they sang Black Mamba, Checkmarks, Slow Down, Neighbors, and We've got a big mess on our hands. For 1 of the songs (don't remember which) Pete came out and every teenie started screaming and made me shiver. I noticed him just as he was coming out but it took them a while to notice because they didn't start screaming until he was right in everyone's faces.

Next was +44. They are pretty good, Travis Barker spit a lot and was smoking while playing. I can't remember the songs they played because I am not a fan of theirs, but EVERYONE went wild when they played 'Rock Show, ' A Blink 182 favorite of mine. I wish I recorded it.......and they ended it with the song When Your Heart Stops. Vicky T came out for one of the songs (Again, don't remember which) and she has a beautiful voice.

Finally Fall Out Boy. (See video for intro). They popped out of the ground like a toaster! It was cool! They started off with Thriller, then in no particular order: Grand Theft Autumn (where Gabe came out to sing with them), Sugar we're going down, Dance Dance, Hum Hallelujah, Golden (where Patrick played the piano), This Ain't a Scene It's an Arms Race (where there were a lot of pyrotechniques which didn't help with the 100 degree weather at 10 at night), A little less sixteen candles a little more touch me, Beat it (by Michael Jackson), The take over the breaks over, A Timbaland song (dont know the name), Our lawyer made us change the name of this song, Carpel Tunnel of Love, Thnks Fr Th Mmrs (see video) and ended with Saturday (I might have missed 1 or 2). Towards the end they pulled out from under the ground another drum set for Andy to play on so he could get out of way from the back. He did this REALLY SICK drum rock out and he was just going crazy! I've never seen him play like that before (I wish I got a video of it). Plus, he was only in his underwear.........Hala!!! During Saturday, all this confetti popped out and Pete went out towards the pit where we were and all the teenies rushed to touch him or grab him. That was the only time I couldn't protect my friend from getting shoved... but all is good......

Overall, a very fun night since it was the 1st time I went to a concert with my good friends. Went to QT right after and got drinks (we were soooooo hungry and thirsty). The End......

Nevermind: I just found out that at our show they were recording for a Fall Out Boy DVD. Damn, and the camera was in my face too! Aww shyt!
